Stihl says it 'can make a serious farmer out of anyone' in a campaign for the latest model of its Farm Boss chainsaw launched last night (16 May).

Created by The Foundry the ad sets the scene of the typical Australian farm, a place where the Farm Boss has been integral throughout its history. Background music builds as a sun-damaged farmer peers out over his ‘property’ before picking up his trusty Farm Boss and jumping into his ride on mower after a busy day on the farm. Pulling up outside a farm gate, he stops the engine and the music promptly cuts out as the shot pans out over his backyard – which is actually not a farm, but a home the midst of suburbia.

The campaign is supported by billboards which will run nationally over the next six months as well as point of sale.
