Qantas has restructured its marketing department bringing on former Clemenger Melbourne director Tim McColl Jones to head up marketing and brand, six months after Olivia Wirth took the top job.
The restructured team is constructed around five key areas; marketing and brand, corporate affairs, digital and content, partnerships and community, Qantas loyalty marketing.
McColl Jones takes on the role of executive manager of brand and marketing reporting to Wirth, who is group executive of brand, marketing and corporate affairs.
McColl Jones most recently led his own advisory service with clients in the tourism and financial services sectors after leaving Clemenger BBDO Melbourne earlier this year. He has extensive experience in tourism, having worked across Tourism Victoria and Tourism Australia on agency side.
Zac Vogel has been promoted into the new head of brand while Tanya Bulkin has been promoted to head of advertising. Both report in to McColl Jones.
Qantas has also promoted Melissa Rose, from the international marketing team to the new head of venture marketing role reporting to Qantas Loyalty CMO Stephanie Tully.
