Rekorderlig Cider has launched a Facebook campaign urging consumers to discover its new flavour.

Cider brand Rekorderlig has launched an interactive treasure hunt-style Facebook application inviting users to uncover a hidden message revealing its new flavour.

The push is called the 'Beautifully Swedish Cider Hunt' and is based on a Google Earth image of Stockholm. The image allows users to navigate the landscape in a bid to uncover the brand's new flavour, through zoom and 360 degree viewing features.

It features several irreverent hidden messages in the forms of billboards and street art telling the users whether are close to revealing it or not. The consumer who uncovers the new flavour will be the first in the world to receive a full case.

The app offers over 300 messages and images to discover in total, offering consumers prizes ranging from Rekorderlig merchandise to beanbags.

It has been created by Sydney-based agency Sound Alliance in collaboration with Native Digital. It is running across Rekorderlig's Facebook page.

Sound Alliance creative director Stig Richards said: "We wanted to create something innovative and entertaining, that would reward the fans with something fun as well as the chance to win great prizes."
