New indy media agency Department212, launched last month by former Ten sales boss Barry O'Brien is staffing up, with a new managing director and group media director joining from Carat.
Jason Dooris has quit his role as Woolworths general manager at the Dentsu-Aegis owned agency to become managing director. He is joined by colleague Claire Fenner, the ex head of supermarkets at Carat now group media director at D212.
Georgina Woodcock has been poached from PHD London to become digital and partnerships lead while Laura Melady joins the firm as digital executive producer.
The company said it was the first raft of key hires, with more to follow in the next few weeks.
D212 was announced by former PHD boss O'Brien in February promising a strong service ethos and a no result, no fee model. The agency then picked up Dick Smith Electronics, an account thought to be worth north of $20 million in total as its founder client.
