Jim Beam has been named Australia's alcohol brand of the year at
Australia's booze jamboree, the Australian Drinks Awards. It also took
home a Bronze Effie award last night for the launch of Jim Beam Devil’s
Cut.

Outdoor Media Association winners last night were: Gwen Beale, commercial executive, APN Outdoor for the Outstanding Service Award, with Ian Woods, formerly of oOH! Media highly commended; Jane King, marketing manager, Adshel for the Rising Star Award with Chris Perera, group sales manager, APN Outdoor highly commended. JCDecaux's Rose Farhart, and oOh! Media's John Purcell were the joint winners of the Excellence in Production Award.

Church & Dwight Australia has appointed STW agency Tribe for a cross-collaboration brand activation this spring. Tribe will promote Church & Dwight’s hair removal brand Nair through a retail activation, alongside sister brands Batiste and Pearl Drops.

Melanie Mahony is Australia's first editor of native advertising, according to Sound Alliance. Mahony has been with the company three years. In that time, she's helped make Rekorderlig Cider, the most popular cider brand on Facebook, said the firm, taking it from 30,000 fans to 250,000 in a year.
