EXCLUSIVE: Tabcorp-owned online gambling company Luxbet has appointed Whybin TBWA Sydney as its creative agency, after its split with US Sydney two months ago.
Whybin came out on top of a pitch process overseen by consultants Trinity P3 and will start on the account immediately.
Luxbet marketing manager Damon Robbins said: “Following an extensive search process we are delighted to form a partnership with Whybin TBWA as our communications agency. They have some great results over the past few years and we're excited to see them take Luxbet to another level.
“US Sydney has done an outstanding job for Luxbet since we launched in 2008, but with the business moving into a new phase we decided to move stables.”
Whybin TBWA Sydney chief executive Paul Bradbury said: “We love working with clients and brands with big ambitions. The guys at Luxbet are game on to take on the big players in this fast growing and fun category, and so are we.”
Earlier this year, Tabcorp rolled the media account for Luxbet into OMD, which handles the bulkof the Tabcorp business. Luxbet had previously worked with Razor, US Sydney's media agency counterpart.
