Aegis has nabbed Kylie Green, recipient of Australian Promotional Marketing Association's (APMA) Lifetime Achievement Award, to head its activations division, which encompasses ApolloNation and Synergy.
Green previously founded activations agency Kaleidoscope Marketing Communications in 1997, which was acquired by then-Photon Group in 2005. More recently, she was the founding director of The Oven.
Green has worked across clients such as Twentieth Century Fox, Emirates, The Good Guys, GSK, Colgate-Palmolive, Samsung Electronics and Diageo.
Aegis Media chief executive Luke Littlefield said: “Kylie is highly experienced and networked in activations, experiential and shopper marketing, making her the ideal candidate to lead ApolloNation and Synergy.
“Her reputation precedes her and with the support of our already strong management team, Kylie is poised to lead our activations business to further growth and success.”
Green said: “The longevity of many of the division's clients is testament to the exceptional job the teams are doing and I look forward to contributing to the ongoing and further success of ApolloNation and Synergy in Australia and New Zealand.”
Green has been active with a number of industry organisations including the Australian Marketing Institute, the Marketing Agencies Association Worldwide and APMA, for which she was chairperson for five years and vice chairperson for two years. She was awarded the APMA Lifetime Achievement Award earlier this year.
She replaces Aegis managing director – activations David Fish, who left in August to join Initiative as chief strategy officer.
Green will be based in Sydney. ApolloNation has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland while Synergy is based in Auckland.
