Jessica Gomes is to star in the next instalment of Air New Zealand's flight safety video content marketing campaign. Hopefully having the in-flight saftey messages delivered by bikini-clad models is't too distracting. Even if people are regular flyers they should probably watch it, for their safety and the safety of others.
The airline has partnered with Sports Illustrated to launch what it claims will be the “most beautiful safety video” next week.
It also stars models Chrissy Teigen, Ariel Meredith, Hannah Davis and Christie Brinkley.
It will launch on 12 February to coincide with the start of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 50th anniversary global celebrations.
Air New Zealand's content strategy is to make quirky safety videos that provide all the necessary information passengers need on flight, but in a way that differs from all other airlines, making safety information into branded content.
Previous ads have starred Golden Girl Betty White and have clocked up around 30 million YouTube hits combined.
