HIRES IN BRIEF: BMF, DDB, Fairfax, The Hallway, UM staff-up

Agencies and media owners alike are busy hiring. Here's the announcements from the last 24 hours.

BMF
BMF has hired Jim Curtis and Ryan Fitzgerald as part of its new creative team. Fitzgerald has been appointed as BMF new art director and Curtis as its new copywriter. Curtis and Fitzgerald previously worked at DDB Sydney.

DDB Sydney
Anna Bollinger has joined DDB Sydney as its new planning director. Bollinger previously worked as a senior planner at Droga5.

Domain
Simon Kent is leaving Standard Media Index to become national agency sales director at Fairfax-owned Domain. Jane Schulze, returning from maternity leave will take-on his duties at SMI.

UM Melbourne
MediaCom's Wayne Philbert has joined UM Melbourne as group director.

The Hallway
The Hallway has hired Bec Morton to the newly created role of head of client management. Morton was previously BMF client services director.
