GGA Digital, a division of Gordon and Gotch Australia, has launched an online magazine store called Treeetmags, enabling publishers to upload magazine content and transform this content into branded apps.
Treetmags works with local magazine publishers to create a suite of services for them. The move is a development on how magazines are currently read online through clicks to turn pages and enables publishers to create branded Apps in iTunes.
Head of GGA Online Katie Ashford said: “The digital world is such a fast changing space. We want publishers to trust Gordon and Gotch. We will offer publishers options for online sales for PC and Macs and tablets.
“Many publishers have been unsure of what platforms to to use and have done very little and one of the reasons is the fear surrounding the cost of developing across different platforms. Gordon and Gotch has been very bold in taking away these barriers for them.”
There are currently 13 branded live Apps on Treetmags and Gordon and Gotch are aiming for 100 branded Apps by Christmas.
