SYDNEY: Turner International Australia has appointed Melissa Fitzgerald as ANZ sales director, following the departure of Nikki Rooke.
Rooke left the company in December 2009 after just eight months in the role to join Austereo as its Sydney sales director.
Fitzgerald starts on 6 April and will be responsible for developing Turner’s advertising sales strategies for Cartoon Network and Boomerang along with its portfolio of online platforms including Cartoonnetwork.com.au and Cartoonnetwork.co.nz.
“Melissa’s strong media agency relationships will undoubtedly prove to be a formidable asset for our business,” said Turner International executive director of sales Robi Stanton.
Fitzgerald was previously agency sales director at ARN Sydney overseeing Mix FM, Classic Hits and The Edge. Prior to that she was agency client team manager at DMG Radio.
