SYDNEY: Pacific Magazines' Practical Parenting has launched its first website.
The site, built as part of Pacific Magazines partnership with Yahoo!7, will act as the gateway to Yahoo!7's parenting portal, and will include photo sharing though Flickr, as well as forums, advice, competitions and and articles.
Online advertising will be sold by both Yahoo!7 and Pacific Magazines with Yahoo!7 securing Canon as the launch advertiser for its new Canon PIXMA campaign.

The launch of practicalparenting.com.au provides a new platform to interact with our loyal audience base and extend the brand experience from the magazine to the online environment," said Practical Parenting associate publisher Gabrielle Cardwell.
The new site will go head-to-head against Fairfax Media's Essentialbaby.com.au which currently boasts 181,000 members.
