Royal Caribbean goes for DAVINCI

By AdNews | 24 April 2009
SYDNEY: Cruise company Royal Caribbean International has appointed DAVINCI Selectwork as its media planning and buying agency.

DAVINCI was appointed without a pitch, said Johnny Lambert, DAVINCI's business development director, and will work alongside Hulsbosch, which covers creative and design, on the account. There was no previous incumbent media agency, with media being handled directly by Royal Caribbean until this appointment.

Royal Caribbean International invested around $1.9 million on main media in the twelve months ending January 2009, almost doubling from a $1 million media spend in the previous corresponding period, according to Nielsen AIS estimates.
