Stahle steps up in Aegis global reshuffle

SINGAPORE: Aegis Media has beefed up its global senior management team and created a new Aegis Media Service Solutions board.

The board will be chaired by Asia-Pacific CEO Patrick Stahle and focus on “Aegis Media’s strategy, brands, insight offer and integration initiatives”, said a statement.

Stahle, who is based in Singapore, is already member of the Aegis Media global executive board.

Under the new management structure, Malcolm Hunter, head of communications planning, will take the new global role of chief client strategy officer for Aegis Media.

In other internal promotions, Nigel Sharrocks, CEO of Aegis Media UK & Ireland, becomes Aegis Media Northern Europe CEO; Marie-Laure Sauty de Chalon, CEO of Aegis Media France, becomes CEO of Aegis Media Southern Europe; and Jose Luis de Rojas, CEO of Aegis Media Iberia, becomes CEO of Aegis Media Iberia and Latin America.

All of the above, along with Andreas Bolte, CEO of Aegis Media Central and Eastern Europe, will join the Aegis Media global executive, joining existing members Nigel Morris, CEO of Isobar, Sarah Fay, CEO of Aegis Media North America, Patrick Stahle and Mark Jamison, Aegis Media CFO.

Jerry Buhlmann, CEO of Aegis Media, said the new regional responsibilities "reflect the balance of our business, with each cluster having critical mass and sharing some important cultural and market dynamics".
