Orchard creates new-look Foxtel site

SYDNEY: Digital marketing agency Orchard Marketing has just completed a redesign of Foxtel’s Comedy Channel website, launching this week.

Orchard Marketing will roll out the first phase of the website this week, which will see a new online brand identity for the channel.

The previous Comedy Channel website served only as an electronic program guide, while the revamped version includes video, e-cards, games and a “comedy generator” designed to recommend programs to users based on their stated preferences.

A comedy gig guide will provide information on the latest live shows around the country and a quiz will allow users to test their knowledge of their favourite Comedy Channel programs.

The redesign has also included the integration of technical feeds into the system, so Foxtel stakeholders can quickly update content.

The next phase will allow for mobile content, exclusive on-air programming and other initiatives targeting the Comedy Channel’s 16 to 39-year-old audience.

Orchard Marketing has been up and running for one year, and is headed up by its four founders including managing partner Wai Kwok, who are formally from Sydney digital agencies Spike and Grey3.

Besides Foxtel, Orchard’s other clients include Novartis, Pfizer, Beiersdorf (Nivea and Leukoplast) and Investa.
