Virgin Mobile marketing director on the move

SYDNEY: Virgin Mobile marketing director Jon Bradshaw is set to leave his role to take on a new position within the Virgin group.

A spokesperson confirmed that Bradshaw was vacating the role of marketing director at Virgin Mobile, but added that he will move to another role within the group.

The spokeperson declined to comment on Bradshaw's new position or on who his replacement at Virgin Mobile would be.

An announcement regarding the changes is expected later this week. It's understood Bradshaw will wrap up his current role at Virgin Mobile in late September.

The Virgin Group also includes Virgin Money, Virgin Broadband, Virgin Blue, V Festival and V Australia.

A former commercial development director at Diageo, and marketer at Guinness, Bradshaw joined Virgin Mobile in January 2008 as previous marketing director Sue Bailey’s replacement.

Jaclyn Lee-Joe was appointed Virgin Mobile head of brand in January this year, replacing Rich Field, who moved to South Africa [AdNews.com.au, 16 January 2009].

Virgin Mobile's rostered agencies are MPG, Host, Dynamix and One Green Bean.
