Online sales company 3D Interactive is set to launch TPN, its first performance media network, on 15 February.
TPN will offer advertisers the ability to pay for advertising based on the response to a web banner or email advertisement, with campaigns bought on the basis of cost per click, lead or acquisition.
Mark Halstead, managing director at 3D Interactive, a Q Ltd company, said former Ninemsn performance sales executive Jonathon Despinidic will head up TPN. It will compete with the likes of Adconion and Microsoft Media Network. TPN’s clients include Aussie Home Loans, Air New Zealand and PayPal.
Halstead said TPN is initially only working with local publishers to allow for tighter targeting. “We’ll collect be-
haviour data of a consumer based on their actual response to an ad, rather than
their browsing habits.”
