Holden has signed on as prime sponsor of Channel NineÕs The Footy Show, joining forces with the Australian Rugby League version in Sydney and Brisbane and the Australian Rules Football version in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Holden hopes to maximise the value of its sponsorship by advertising its entire range of passenger vehicles during the show in addition to its Rodeo, Jackaroo and Frontera models. The ARL version of the original late night football panel program features the winning trio Paul ÒFattyÓ Vautin, Peter ÒSterloÓ Sterling and Steve ÒBlockerÓ Roach while the AFL version features Eddie McGuire, Sam Newman and Trevor Marmalade. Holden director of sales & marketing Ross McKenzie says: ÒThe Footy Show fits well with HoldenÕs overall brand image and buyer profiles for our entire range of vehicles. We look forward to a mutually beneficial association.Ó
