Ageism in marketing

SYDNEY: A survey by Morgan & Banks has found ageism is rampant in marketing, with 81.48% of employees concerned at the trend to hire younger staff, third behind only the legal sector (100%) and telecommunications (90.91%), backing claims over-45s are disadvantaged by their age in job interviews. For the young (19 to 24), experience is seen as a greater barrier than age.
