Bashful lands new clients; hires former Whybin creative

Creative agency Bashful has won the business for MailPlus and Kennards Hire, along with hiring former Whybin\TBWA creative Tim Chenery.

Bashful has been named the creative ageny of professional pick-up and delivery service MailPlus. The win will see Bashful charged with developing campaigns for the national franchise business, which was recently acquired by Australia Post.

In addition, Bashful will now be reponsible for equipment hire business, Kennards Hire's creative and social accounts.

Following the two new business wins, Bashful has hired Chenery to be a new creative director for the agency. He previously worked at agencies including Whybin\TBWA and Leo Burnett with clients including Nike, SBS, TAB and Gatorade.

Bashful CEO Simon Bookallil says the new business wins and creative department appointments mark a significant step in the agency’s journey.

Bashful’s current portfolio includes P&O Cruises, Biozet Attack, Bisley Workwear, TFE Hotels, Jergens Skin Care, Wrangler Jeans, The Boutique Boat Company, Zimmermann and SABA.

Bashful was shortlisted for AdNews Independent Agency of the Year in 2014.
