This ad is so funny! All the losers moaning about this ad should save their breath so they still have the energy to moan about the sun being to bright, or razor's being to sharp! Or just go back to building their model train's when the ad comes on. "One boy Man!"
Shane on 12-Jun-10 10:00AM
This Ad is HILARIOUS!! And the Actor is simply Brilliant!! Rick was it? U are a legend mate! I can not believe people are actually whinging about this ad! Makes no sense what so ever! And this is coming from a 100% straight male audience! What surprised me is how sensetive some guys are towards their images.. i mean come on! Lighten up guys! The guy in the add has done an Excellent job!
AB from Auckland on 21-May-10 3:45PM
This is the most ridiculous unfunny ad I've ever seen. Absolute blatant sexism. If this was a woman or a blonde woman acting like a moron all feminists would be up in arms. I find it incredibly offensive to men, & I'm a woman.
Lucy from Melb on 17-May-10 5:16PM
Whats the song the guys is singing?? one boy man .....??? if theyre even the lyrics
Ashley on 08-May-10 11:47AM
what is the actor's name? is he on any other ad or show?
JP on 07-May-10 8:28PM
Im sure that's Antonia Prebble!! It HAS to be!
Shandra from Auckland on 03-May-10 7:48PM
The ad assumes we grown blokes are morons that woman have to patronise. Pretty subtle sexism. So fed up of being told how useless we men are.... oh sorry only prejudice against minorities is taken seriously nowadays.
mike from townsville on 02-May-10 8:03PM
Is the girl Antonia Prebble?
Gin from NZ on 13-Apr-10 6:11PM
At least theyre not used....
TranspaddersVSDeceptampons on 07-Apr-10 6:35PM

Kylie from Newcastle, NSW on 07-Apr-10 9:19AM
I think its hilarious, job well done i say.. Every male ive spoken to thinks its a great ad.. lighten up people! :)
Kate from Wagga Wagga on 26-Mar-10 2:21PM
I think the ad is fun but the weird thing is I saw some kids on an outdoor basketball court and one of the boys had the pads stuck to him just like the ad. Talk about an effective meme.
David from Adelaide on 22-Mar-10 9:10PM
Lol I can't believe people are against this! Best add ever. I reckon they should do like his adventures or further it on somehow. Just because it's so brilliant! =) We always unmute the adds when he comes on hehe.
Bec on 22-Mar-10 12:19AM
I cant believe people are moaning about this ad, its one of the only ones we dont mute when it comes on, its still funny and the actor deserves an award. If all ads were this entertaining maybe more people would watch them. Get a sense of humour people!!!!
fiona from wa on 19-Mar-10 2:12PM
I must say I'm tired of and very embarrassed when feminine hygiene ads talk about leakage and heavy flow etc. Totally wrong. But I have done nothing but laugh when this ad comes on and better still my 8 year old daughter laughs without asking me "what are they used for?" If you're going to schedule such ads at 7.30 at night at least make them family friendly. This ad is, and the actor is brilliant!
Laurel on 18-Mar-10 8:43PM
Guys get a sense of humour, its fucking funny. The people who dont find this funny probably live very sad lives.
Peter from aus on 17-Mar-10 9:01PM
Awesome Ad, even when sitting next to my boyfriend this ad has no awkward 'don't look at me' feeling when it comes on just hilarious laughter!
Georgie from melbourne on 17-Mar-10 3:05PM
I cringe when I see this ad. Is this really the product of a creative advertsing company or just some lame ripoff on similar ads? The writer and creative director should be made to parade around wearing these things in public. I struggled hard to find an ad even worse than the Bankwest ads but this is the one. Anyone who find this funny seriously needs ECT.
Hotchillilover from Manly on 17-Mar-10 12:01AM
Stupid ad, cannot believe the advertising world could not do any better!!!!
ali wood from melbourne on 16-Mar-10 10:34PM
There's no need for such a ridiculous ad, there's no need to advertise such a personal product - remove it from the screens ! There is no man that would be so stupid
Aries Girl from Somerville VIC on 16-Mar-10 9:23PM
I love this ad so much! Every time it is on I have to stop what I am doing to watch it. Its a great way to have a laugh at a serious-ish topic.
Emily Speakman from Williamstown on 15-Mar-10 3:23PM
To those people who complain about this ad. Seriously? Its hilarious... and both the guy and the girl are hot, contemporary, young individuals. Get over yourselves and live in the now. Do you seriously need another cliche pad ad? Beaver this beaver that? All advertising pushes boundaries, thats why its there. Job well done I saw. If any had to ask me to recommend any lady products I'd say "Libra, the one with that hot guy in the ad..." They've got everyones attention...
Dirka Dirka on 13-Mar-10 2:23AM
We have really evolved have we in this category - this is one step to the left (but certainly not forward) to the "stressed goldfish" piece from a few years ago. I would be so happy for men to be entirely written out of the script - it isnt about us, it isnt about our inability to understand or take seriously - Please refer to the Beaver spots by Kotex for a job well done.. Yes, this a tough category, No, this isnt a very good example :(
Nick on 11-Mar-10 11:44AM
I got sent a link to this by a Aussie mate and I have to say it is hilarious. To those whining about it making blokes look like idiots, give over, seen a lot worse things done than this in real life. You obviously haven't experienced "student life".
Trev from UK on 10-Mar-10 8:54PM
I absolutely love this ad. I crack up laughing every time I see it. The whole thing is hilarious however I particularly find the bit behind the couch the funniest. Well Done..Love it.
Gina Atcheson from campbelltown on 09-Mar-10 9:25PM
to all the people who dont like this ad - PMS.PMS.PMS.PMS. would you rather a freaking boring ad with classical music playing in the background and telling you how wonderful it is to bleed for seven days? no. noone wants that. theres no "sensitive" way to advertise that. I love this ad and its hilarious!
mcnuggets on 08-Mar-10 2:54PM
Oh this is the best Ad on TV...best ever! i've even made a facebook page about it because it makes me laugh everytime and I think about it for the rest of the ads. U guys have got my support! Ching ping ping ping ping. ps, my husband loves it too..he laughs at it even if he can hear it.
Sera on 04-Mar-10 11:13PM
I am fed up with ads that portray men as idiotic and disrespectful of women. Come on, guys - it's just not funny.
Kay on 04-Mar-10 5:23PM
This type of advertising is common today. Nothing is private anymore, nothing is tasteful anymore, Everything is out there. But really, do men actually behave like this? I would like to think we haven't sunk so low/ Come on Libra have some decency.did you all laugh yourselves stupid brainstorming the ad. Well of course you would all be young, so private intimate matters don't matter to you. When you are all wiser and more mature (one would hope), you perhaps in your private moments will think about more uplifting topics instead of sinking into the sewer.
patricia austin from west lakes on 03-Mar-10 5:32PM
This ad is totally disgusting, totally tasteless. The product is not for men to use, it is for women to use for personal hygiene. I don't see anything funny about it at all. I mute the TV or change channel when the ad comes on. My mother thinks it is disgusting also. PLEASE TAKE IT OFF AIR!
