What does hope mean to you this Christmas?

The Salvation Army has launched a very different digital campaign this December.

The Salvos are hitting the streets of Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth to ask Australians what hope means to them at Christmas and then posting their potrait across social media with their message.

The campaign was designed to demonstrate to Australians how one interpretation of hope may differ from others in their community.

The Salvation Army's major, Paul Hateley said: “This is a completely new approach for The Salvation Army and we’re hoping to create conversation around Australia’s disadvantage in our community with a younger and more digitally savvy audience.”

The images will be shared on the campaign website, and the public are encouraged to share their own photo and message of hope.
