The partnership will see the three culinary heavyweights create a limited edition dining box.
Gin brand Tanqueray has announced a first-of-its-kind collaboration with meal kit subscription service Marley Spoon and Australian chef Matt Preston.
The partnership will see the three culinary heavyweights create a limited edition dining box that will provide home diners everything they need to host a dinner party to impress - including bespoke Tanqueray cocktails and will be available for pre-order from Monday February 10.
To celebrate the partnership, Tanquerary and Matt Preston will host the ultimate dinner party for Sydneysiders at the Sydney Opera House, on Thursday February 20.
Surrounded by dramatic views of Sydney Harbour, guests will experience a specially curated three-course meal and cocktails from the dining box and be inspired to host their very own evening to remember.
Tickets are available to purchase from Thursday February 6, for $120 via the Opera House Website
“We are so excited to have collaborated with Marley Spoon and Matt Preston to encourage Australians to experience Tanqueray in their home, whilst still being inspired to bring to life a heightened dining experience," Diageo marketing manager Linda Wellington says.
“Like Charles Tanqueray who searched the globe for the perfect ingredients to create the unmistakable Tanqueray taste, we believe that ‘It’s what you put in’ that matters.
"We’ve worked with Marley Spoon, Matt Preston and key tastemakers from around Australia to showcase what makes a dinner party special. We look forward to bringing this experience to guests at our event at The Sydney Opera House, as well as those dining at home with friends and family with the Tanqueray x Marley Spoon ultimate dinner party box.”
The Tanqueray x Marley Spoon ultimate dinner party box will be available in two exclusive menu variations – Korean and French.
It will contain all the ingredients to serve a three-course meal to six people, including Tanqueray London Dry Gin cocktails and hosting hints and tips from Matt Preston.
The boxes aim to encourage people to host friends and family for an exceptional at home experience, for $269 (approx. $45 a head).
Those who are interested in elevating their dining experience even more can upgrade their box with a bottle of Tanqueray Nº TEN, a small batch gin crafted using fresh citrus fruits for $299.
“I am thrilled to collaborate with Tanqueray and Marley Spoon to encourage Australians to get together in their homes, share special moments and, of course, a show-stopping dining experience," Preston says.
“The Tanqueray x Marley Spoon ultimate dinner party box contains everything people need to take their dinner parties to the next level and add a little magic to an evening with their nearest and dearest, from recipes I’ve created exclusively for this collaboration to exciting new twists on the Tanqueray gin and tonic. The biggest benefit is that someone else has done the thinking and shopping for you!”
