The integrated campaign, created by The Core Agency, introduces a new character named 'Rego'.
QBE Insurance has worked with The Core Agency to develop an integrated campaign on compulsory third party (CTP) insurance in South Australia.
The campaign continues to use the brand's long-running animation style to help introduce South Australian customers to its CTP offering.
The Core Agency founder and creative partner Christian Finucane says that the animated style will help QBE "cut through" and "engage" with its customers on something that people don't take a lot of interest in.
This latest campaign sees the introduction of a new character named 'Rego' who pops up in scenes unexpectedly.
QBE Insurance Group CMO Bettina Pidcock says the campaign was hoped to help the business stand out from competitors in the South Australian market.
"The South Australian CTP market is extremely competitive, and we required a campaign to help us win against the local providers," Pidcock says.
"By introducing the new ‘Rego’ character we make a clear link as to when customers need to consider QBE for their CTP insurance."
The campaign will include TV, digital, social and website integration.
