Nine is raising awareness for its new female-focused digital subscription business, Future Women, with a campaign set to role out in coming months.
The 60-second spot features a range of inspiring women including Harper's Bazaar's Kellie Hush, co-founders of PE Nation Pip Edwards and Claire Treg, anti-abuse campaigner Moo Baulch, co-founder of The Daily Edited Alyce Tran, journalist at 60 Minutes Allison Langdon, host of Triple J Brooke Boney, sex discrimination commissioner Kate Jenkins and actor Zufi Emerson.
The ad, by from from luxury video creator Sirap and Nine's creative team led by executive creative director Andrew Peace features, is set to air across social platforms and on Nine’s owned and operated assets in the coming months.
It follows the soft launch of the site in July this year and sums up Future Women's mantra in three words: "Connect, Learn, Lead".
“We wanted to create a TVC which conveyed women as strong", Future Women digital content director Dani Pinkus says.
"The #metoo era has changed the landscape forever and we wanted to say regardless of what has happened in the past, women are strong.
“The creative team had a very small budget but a very clear direction and we are very pleased with the result and believe it captures the Future Women brand, which we say is more about attitude than age or anything else for that matter", Pinkus says.
On the 30th of October, Future Women will host its first VIP dinner event in Sydney with guest panellist former foreigner minister Julie Bishop. The panel, hosted by Ali Langdon, host of Weekend Today and reporter on 60 Minutes, will also include Kellie Hush and CEO of Skip Capital, Kim Jackson.
