Perth Is OK! cashes in on BankWest.
Instagram account and independently-run culture website Perth Is OK! has broken its own records for its ‘Maximise Pleasure While Minimising Banking Pain’ campaign for Bankwest.
Perth Is OK!’s creative team created a campaign with six contextually-relevant, long-form articles that fit comfortably within Perth Is OK!’s regular content output, which were then amplified via social media and bolstered with a targeted website-display campaign.
The team used a combination of curated content that provided benefit to the reader, such as 10 Date Ideas Around Perth That Won’t Break The Bank, highly-targeted social media campaigns and simple CTAs to drive uptake. They recorded almost 25,000 web impressions per article, the highest amount for a campaign to date.

The hashtag #perthisok is nearing the four-million mark, along with 383,000 followers on Instagram (@perthisok and @perthisok.local) and 142,000 on Facebook, accounting for a total of more than 18 million monthly impressions.
The successful campaign led to Perth Is OK! entering an agreement with Bankwest to make the bank its exclusive financial institution partner for 2021/22.
