Kevin Dillon 'auditions' for Virgin/Presto call

Actor Kevin Dillon has lent his face to a new campaign for Virgin Mobile and Presto.

Virgin Mobile has entered into a partnership with the SVOD service and is offering users of its Postpaid accounts upto 2GB of free data a month in a bid to encourage more streaming.

Virgin said that more Australians want to stream on the go, but are afraid to use up their data allowance.

Presto counts international hits The Walking Dead, Mad Men, True Blood, The Big Bang Theory and Entourage and hit local dramas including Wentworth and All Saints among its catalogue.

The content, which launches today, includes one 90-sec and two 30-sec content pieces as well as two 15-sec product ads, and will be amplified through pre-rolls and native video through a paid digital buy as well as through cinema and social media channels.

The promotion will run until the end of May next year.
