Cillit Bang launches first global campaign with Flashdance moves

“You call that dancing, rolling on the floor on your back?”

Just when you thought cleaning product ads were boring, Cillit Bang UK launches its first global campaign, ‘The Mechanic’, created by BETC Paris.

In the clip, the mechanic, who happens to be a front dancer on Madonna's tours, is so inspired by the cleaning product's ability to cut through grime that he breaks into dance. Not just any dance either, he pulls out some pretty major moves to the classic Flashdance movie tune She’s a Maniac.

The campaign is currently being run across YouTube and Facebook. While there is no current TV advertising plan for the UK, there will be spots booked in other markets such as Australia, Germany and Russia.
