The campaign features six lesser-known areas of South Australia, rebranding them as luxury tourist destinations and hidden gems of Australia.
South Australia Tourism Commission (SATC) has launched a new campaign with the Adshel network.
The ads showcase seven high definition images strewn throughout train stations, aimed to target consumers on their daily commutes.
The images feature the slogan, ‘Tell Us Where,’ and direct consumers to a microsite where they are urged to enter a competition to identify each location in return for a travel prize.
Over 4000 entries into the competition were made as a result of the campaign images.
SATC reported the campaign brought in their website’s biggest two weeks of traffic in their website’s history following the reveal of the featured locations.
“We took a bit of a gamble on the unbranded element of the campaign, but the results have been phenomenal,” SATC executive director of marketing Brent Hill says.
“The Tell Us Where campaign had close to 10,000 comments, reactions and likes across social media during its two-week run, and then during phase two, when we revealed that all seven of these breathtaking images were of locations in South Australia, our visits to southaustralia.com absolutely skyrocketed.”
