Red Cross is encouraging donors to become active participants on its Facebook page, as part of its new campaign. The ad, created by Igloo, highlights how being social can help blood donations.
The TV spot promotes the tagline 'You're a giver, be a liker', featuring a graph which slowly morphs into a Facebook arm donating blood. The campaign is featured on YouTube, in-centre collateral and social media.
Marketing director at the Blood Service, Alyson Pearce said: “This campaign helps us spread the word and let people know where to find us when they have questions or want to share their story.”
