Fanatical All Blacks fan 'Tim' returns in a new campaign from Mastercard to promote its PayPass technology.

'Tim' was introduced last year in the 'Check in' TV spot, which had been voted Best Ad in New Zealand at the Fair Go Awards.

This time around, All Blacks players Richie McCaw, Ali Williams and Ma'a Nonu are rushing to 'Tim's' wedding, but thanks to PayPass, longer tasks are cut down to almost no time.

McCann executive creative director John Mescall said: "How do you follow up New Zealand's favourite ad of 2012? Well, you dash the hopes of tens of thousands of Kiwi women everywhere by marrying-off the lovable little hero of the campaign: Tim. Sorry ladies."

The campaign will launch on 7 April and will run across cinema, out-of-home and digital.
