Wesley Mission has partnered with Adshel for a new awareness campaign called 'Spotting the Signs' to help prevent suicide.
“More lives are lost to suicide each year than from skin cancer or road deaths,” said Wesley Mission CEO Keith Garner.
“Simple effective interventions can make a difference and save lives. The support of Adshel will help raise awareness, build strength and understanding in communities and help prevent suicide.”
The outdoor campaign features images photographed by Sydney photographer Nick May, capturing every day life situations with people holding signs asking for help, giving ordinary situations a stark reality.
The campaign message is to help Australians spot the signs of suicide as early as possible and to raise awareness of the Wesley LifeForce suicide intervention skills training workshops.
