Australian fashion model and ambassador of Bowel Cancer Australia, Lara Bingle, is the face of this years Bowel Cancer Awareness campaign that runs throughout June.
Its latest TV commercial sees Bingle promoting awareness of the disease that affects 15,000 Australians each year, although bowel cancer is “preventable, treatable and beatable.”
The campaign message is clear: “Small actions - Big movement,” encouraging people to support the cause by creating awareness via social using the hashtag #BowelMovement or to seek further involvement at Bowel Cancer Australia's main domain.
“It’s great to have all these people volunteering their time to help raise awareness of bowel cancer. Every small action can contribute to a big movement for bowel cancer awareness,” said Bowel Cancer Australia chief executive Julien Wiggins.
The campaign will run across TV, radio and social.
