The RSPCA has launched a Farmville-style Facebook game to help generate donations.
Created by 3rd Sense, "Rescue Shelter" tasks players with building and running a virtual animal shelter. 'Silver Paws' and 'Gold Paws' are used as in-game currency. Silver Paws are allocated in-game but Gold Paws can be purchased to increase buying capacity.
All proceeds go towards the RSPCA. The game launches in beta release today with changes expected over the coming months in response to user feedback.
