Cancer Australia wants women to understand the risks, myths and information about ovarian cancer.
The campaign features an interactive quiz that enables consumers to see how much they really know about ovarian cancer. The initiative also aims to raise awareness through Teal Ribbon Day.
Cancer Australia CEO, Professor Helen Zorbas said “Most women with ovarian cancer experience at least one symptom in the year prior to diagnosis, however, evidence suggests that women’s knowledge of ovarian cancer is poor, especially when it comes to the signs and symptoms of the disease.”
