Entrepreneur Jamie Green stood in a perspex box in Melbourne CBD for 24 hours to launch a crowd-funded campaign for his new brand, One Night Stand sleepwear.
The stunt was to launch his mission to pre-sell $24,000 worth of his sleepwear range. One Night Stand is a social enterprise, supporting people who are sleeping rough by providing meals for every item of sleepwear sold.
During the 24 hours, Green was joined in the box by representatives of Grill'd, Smiling Mind and Streat, as well as comedians, musicians and even a new bride.
Green met his fundraising goal. He said: “It was definitely harder than I could have imagined, but I'd do it again to help make change for young people.”
