Very rarely does car advertising feature a car accident to highlight the vehicle's safety. Volkswagen US has taken an effective marketing risk in its newest spot.
The ad shows the morning routine of a 'lucky man' who wakes up next to his beautiful wife, has a playful breakfast with his son and then proceeds to go to work in his VW Passat.
The campaign highlights how the vehicle is designed with other drivers in mind.
