Abbott's Village Bakery wants consumers to adopt a loaf of bread in its latest social media push. The campaign builds on the 'free range bread' initiative that launched earlier this year.
The campaign which will run through July encourages Facebook fans to adopt a loaf with the first 20 adoptive parents each day receiving a free loaf of bread and the chance to win $1000.
Abbott’s Village Bakery's group brand manager, Tracey Fox said “We had such an amazing response from our Facebook community around the Abbott’s Village Bakery Free Range Farm that we wanted to give people the chance to interact with the loaves by adopting and naming them.”
