R/GA Australia has appointed Ciaran Park as executive technical director across its Sydney and Melbourne offices.
Park's background spans creative coding, systems, tools and solution definition, R&D and prototyping.
He brings more than a decade of experience in crafting innovative digital solutions, with a hands-on approach to shaping concepts from design through to implementation.
Having worked as both technical consultant and creative technologist, Park says it is important to be able to continue adapting to the technical landscape.
“To realise true value for our clients and their customers, we need to be able to adapt in an exciting, ever-changing, technical landscap," Park says.
"Pushing the edge of what’s possible and forging real human connections is what R/GA is all about, and I’m ecstatic about joining Michael, Victoria and the team in fulfilling that mission.”
Park joins from AnalogFolk where he spent three years as technical director.
Prior to that he held roles at TMW Unlimited in the UK for three and a half years and four years with former digital production studio Specialmoves.
“Technology is integral to any brand experience, and Ciaran is perfectly placed to help deliver on our strategy of a leaner, modular approach to technology that helps clients innovate and extract more value quickly,” R/GA Australia VP managing director Micheal Titshall says.
Park is R/GA's latest senior hire, joining recently appointed managing director of Sydney, Victoria Curro, who joined the agency after three years heading up M&C Saatchi Group's LIDA.
