Multi Channel Network is undertaking a management restructure as national sales and marketing director Damian Keogh leaves to join cinema sales house Val Morgan as CEO.

MCN has created a new management structure consisting of three divisional heads, reporting to CEO Anthony Fitzgerald.

Sydney sales director Mark Frain becomes national sales director, with head of strategic integration Elizabeth Minogue stepping up to strategic integration director.

MCN is on the hunt for a commercial and marketing director to replace Keogh, rounding out the three divisional heads.

Other changes will see Shae Bonney, currently group account manager, replace Mark Frain as Sydney sales head.

Fitzgerald said: “Damian has been an integral part of our growth story to-date, having spent more than seven years at MCN working across numerous senior roles - most recently as 2IC overseeing both Sales and Marketing.

“MCN continues to experience strong growth and we see no sign of this diminishing.  We are taking this opportunity to structure the business around our three core disciplines of sales, marketing and integration.”

Keogh replaces Graeme Yarwood at Val Morgan, who is relinquishing the role after eight and a half years in the position. He will take up his position at Val Morgan in early July.

David Kirk, executive chairman of the Hoyts Group, which includes Val Morgan, said: “I wish to thank Graeme Yarwood for his fine service to Val Morgan. Graeme has been a true champion of cinema advertising and has successfully grown and diversified the business by developing Val Morgan Retail Media.

“We are delighted that Damian will be joining Val Morgan. Damian has led a team that has delivered outstanding sales growth at MCN over the past seven years. His skills and experience are ideally suited to the new role.”

Keogh added: “This is an exciting time for cinema advertising. Cinema audiences are growing, bucking the trend of fragmenting audiences we see a lot today. Digitisation and 3-D offer new opportunities for advertisers. I am confident that working with the Val Morgan team and our advertising partners we can grow cinema’s share of advertising spend. I am also looking forward to continuing the growth of Val Morgan into other forms of out of home advertising.”
