Airbnb is hoping to replicate the success it had with its Ikea sleepover campaign by partnering with the Sydney Swans to list its biggest property to date - the Sydney Cricket ground.
Four Sydney Swans fans will get the chance to win a stay in a luxury apartment in the Victor Trumper Stand at the team's home stadium, the Sydney Cricket Ground, before the team's clash with the Greater Western Sydney Giants on 18 April.
The apartment will feature a queen-size bed, bunk bed, a lounge and dining area, flat screen TVs and a balcony overlooking the stadium, behind the goals.
In addition, Swans legend Jude Bolton will be on hand to host guests and along with former swans player Nick Davis will join Airbnb guests for dinner at the Members' Dining Pavilion.
Guests will also get to explore the oval, watch a movie on the SCG's big screen and play a bit of footy on the ground before the game.
It's not the first time Airbnb has given the public the chance to stay in unusual locations, with a tie up with Ikea in Sydney last year, allowing guests to spend the night in the store.
An Airbnb spokesperson said: “We're thrilled to be providing such an incredible experience for loyal Swans fans who travel all over the country to support their team.
Sydney is one of the top ten global destinations on Airbnb and the SCG is by far our single biggest local listing.
“This is the first time anyone has ever been allowed to sleepover at the SCG and wake up on game day at the grounds - so it's going to be huge.”
Entrants need to book online and submit an answer of 25 words via the “contact host” section of the site explaining why they should win.
“What a fantastic opportunity to do something no AFL fan has ever experienced in sleeping at the SCG,” said former Sydney Swans captain Jude Bolton added.
“A sleepover at the ground the night before a game is something Swans fans could only dream about. It really doesn’t get much better than that,” he said.
