French beauty giant L’Oréal Groupe ANZ has appointed six agencies after a four-stage social services creative tender, AdNews can confirm.
While over the past two months some agencies have announced individual appointments, the complete roster includes 2045 Studios, M&C Saatchi, Clemenger, The Content Works, Hotglue a part of Havas and Tag Worldwide a part of Dentsu.
The pitch, which involved a undisclosed number of agencies across Australia and New Zealand, was run by the brand's local procurement.
L’Oréal owns 36 international brands including Garnier, Maybelline, Lancôme, CeraVe and more, which are divided into four divisions: luxe, consumer products, dermatological beauty and professional products.
Within the agency village, agencies will have the opportunity to work on strategic, creative, digital, and social marketing for brand and tactical campaigns.
The collaboration aims to strengthen L’Oréal’s market leadership while driving engagement across its diverse consumer base.
The village has already started working together, with work expected to kick off in early 2025.
Earlier last year, Cyclone Creative won L'Oréal's content production pitch.
In September 2023, L’Oréal Groupe ANZ got a new CEO for the first time in nine years, with the brand's chief executive of Greece, Alex Davison, moving into the role.
