
Triton Digital's Podcast Ranker for January 2025 has been released, with The Mel Robbins Podcast taking over as number one in both the Top 100 Ranker.
The educational podcast rose a massive 19 spots from December's ranking, finishing with 719,444 monthly listeners over 1.2 million monthly downloads.
ABC News Top Stories, which remains number one in the Top 100 All-Australian Ranker, finished at second in the overall Top 100 Ranker for January, dropping a spot but only slightly behind with 702,309 monthly listeners and over 2.2 million monthly downloads.
Mamamia Out Loud and Shameless remained in third and fourth with 521,399 monthly listeners and 432,073 monthly listeners respectively.
Casefile True Crime dropped three spots to fifth with 388,972 monthly listeners.
Making it into the top 10 this month was ABC News Daily rising three spots to eighth (334,135 monthly listeners).
ARN/iHeartMedia, remained at first in the Top Publishers rankings, but SiriusXM Podcast Network took the second spot with over 2.7 million monthly listeners and 8 million monthly downloads, dropping LiSTNR (SCA) to number four. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) remained in third.
ARN/iHeartMedia led the way in monthly listeners with 3,779,981 to go along with over 12.6 million monthly downloads, while the ABC totalled 27,557,822 monthly downloads, the highest for January.
