Lisa Ronson, Medibank’s chief marketing officer, has died in a an accident in Victoria. She was 52.

She reportedly was in an all terrain vehicle Saturday night at her family farm in Ullina, near Daylesford.

Her busband, Chris Taylor, told the Herald Sun: “The sudden loss of our beloved Lisa has left us in profound shock, with words falling short of capturing the depth of our grief."

Worksafe is investigating the incident, the ABC reported

Lisa Ronson, a former Tourism Australia CMO and head of marketing at Coles, spoke in September at the AdNews Emerging Leaders awards, saying the best leaders have authenticity, empathy, and effective communication.

"A lot of crappy things will happen in the course of the day," Ronson said.

"But true leaders rise above it, they think about the impact their actions are having on the team, rather than the little things that are going on that day.

"As leaders we cast really long shadows and sometimes when we get really busy we forget that. Having empathy for people and really listening is how you can make a difference."
