SYDNEY: Hyper Island, the digital media school first launched in Sweden, is to offer a series of master classes in Sydney and Melbourne.
The Communications Council is bringing the institute for digital education to Australia for three days in both Melbourne and Sydney in September.
Hyper Island’s master classes focus on enhancing efficiency within organisations and using interactive communications as a tool for ensuring high growth and long-term success.
Classes are developed in close collaboration with top agencies and brands around the world, and are partly inspired by leadership tactics employed by the Swedish military.
The master classes in Sydney and Melbourne will be tailored specifically for marketing, advertising and media professionals across creative businesses.
“We are tremendously excited to be bringing this digital institution to Australia, especially as it is the first time Hyper Island has offered its master classes in the Asia Pacific region," said Communications Council chief executive, Daniel Leesong. "Through Hyper Island, Australian communications professionals will gain exposure to an entirely unique learning methodology, which centres around team effectiveness, global digital trends and group leadership skills."
Hyper Island students have been recruited by companies such as Apple, Droga5, Google, IDEO, Pixar and Goodby Silverstein & Partners, while its master classes attract top level executives from companies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, EURO RSCG and Ogilvy.
The Communications Council’s three-day Hyper Island Master Class take place in Sydney on the 17, 18 and 19 September, followed up in Melbourne on 24, 25 and 26 September.
A limited number of places are available for each three-day master class to create a highly immersive learning environment. Lecturers and facilitators from Europe and Australia will oversee all lectures and assignments. Visit this site for more information.
