The former chief executive of Yahoo7! and before that Seven Network's director of investments is a wild card but he is pulling levers behind the scenes. He was considered a contender for the top job at Network Seven although the money is on Kurt Burnette.
But Lund has a depth of market experience and nearly 10 years with Kerry Stokes.
Lund was working closely with previous Seven West chief executive Don Voelte, before Tim Worner was installed in the position, detailing a far-reaching cost-cutting program and looking at new revenue streams.
His five years running Yahoo7! and before that Seven Network means Lund has a broad knowledge of digital media and broadcast and it's likely that Stokes will want to keep him inside the camp. Stay Tuned.
