Marty O’Halloran is an industry luminary. Good-natured and charming, the executive chairman of DDB Group ANZ is also chairman of Interbrand and a board member of the Omnicom Media Group.
After a quarter of a century with the agency, O’Halloran boasts an immense understanding and investment in the business. While he has slipped a few spaces from last year – mainly due to DDB missing out on Commonwealth Bank and losing Tourism Australia – he’s guided the network through an extremely challenging market and ensured it has remained one of the strongest, most stable and most awarded creative shops.
O’Halloran has stepped back slightly from his regular duties and is now focusing his efforts more regionally. But the father of three is not giving up the throne just yet, with more investment and development incoming.
