Wunderman Thompson has strengthened its Melbourne leadership team, promoting Suzanne Sarkis to the position of Melbourne Partner.
Sarkis will return from maternity leave to take up the position in December, retaining her senior role of head of customer relationship (CRM) and marketing automation.
In her new role, Sarkis says her experience in data marketing will help "drive" the agency's ethos and deliver value for its clients.
Sarkis has been with Wunderman since 2017 and continued to lead CRM and marketing automation since the recent merger.
Prior to her time at Wunderman, Sarkis worked at Herbert Smith Freehills where she worked in several roles including global head of digital.
Wunderman Thompson ANZ CEO John Gutteridge says Sarkis has been an integral player in the unity of Wunderman Thompson culturally, while boosting national digital capabilities.
“Suzanne has successfully led the growth of Wunderman Thompson’s CRM and marketing automation capability nationally, with clients including Victorian Government, Viva Energy, Adidas and Transurban," Gutteridge says.
"She has done an outstanding job in leading the CRM and MA practice and has ultimately helped lead many clients to significant growth. We can’t wait for her to return and have a more holistic influence across the business as a partner in Melbourne.”
Sarkis joins fellow Wunderman Thompson Melbourne partner Nick Muncaster and Melbourne managing partner Michael Godwin on the leadership team.
The trio have been tasked with overseeing continued growth and expansion of the Melbourne office which has already won a number of new clients including a three-year contract with the Victorian Department of Justice and Community Safety.
