Lingerie and underwear brand Triumph International has appointed Wavemaker to handle its Australian and New Zealand media planning and buying account, bringing the business into alignment with the global media agreement.
The account will be handled out of Wavemaker Brisbane, from January 1.
The agency's remit will cover the Triumph, Triumph Triaction and Sloggi brands.
“We were impressed by the level of commitment and depth of expertise of the Wavemaker team, and we believe they’re the right agency to help us communicate with our customers in unexpected ways," Triumph International senior brand marketing manager Alana Jones says.
"I’m looking forward to seeing the impact of their data-led consumer journey approach in growing our brands.”
Triumph will continue to leverage its 'Together we Triumph' creative direction, which focuses on empowerment, strength and women supporting each other.
Wavemaker Brisbane MD Jane Sullivan says the agency looks forward to bringing the brand to "greater heights".
“Everyone at Wavemaker Brisbane did an outstanding job in building the confidence of the local Triumph team, allowing us to start this new relationship on solid foundations,” Sullivan says.
This is the latest in a series of new business wins for Wavemaker Australia over the past 12 months, including Australia Post, Huawei, EB Games, IG Markets and Stratton Finance.
Wavemaker Brisbane’s clients include Domino’s Pizza, Allianz Worldwide Partners, Bond University, Hamilton Island, Tourism Whitsundays, Auto Sports Group and Business Council of Australia.
