Independent Australian-owned communications company VMG announced the promotion of Sal Daoud to the newly created role of head of growth & partnerships.

Daoud was previously national head of sales for two of VMG’s brands, digital marketing agency Sillyfish and bespoke outof-home specialist Captive Vision Outdoor.

Before VMG, Daoud spent five years at oOh! Media as senior business manager where he was awarded the company’s 2019 National Sales winner title.

In the new role, Daoud will be responsible for exploring growth opportunities for VMG brands as well as collaborations
across the group, including Yakkazoo, Revolution360, Frontier Media, CVO, VIM, Sillyfish, and Aspire Talent Group. Last
week, Yakkazoo and Frontier Media merged to form a fully integrated agency to explore more shared opportunities across
their client bases.

“Sal’s exceptional sales experience is an asset to the group with his network and in-depth understanding of the market
and clients we work with, I am thrilled to have him work closely with me for the next phase of growth for VMG,” said VMG
CEO Michael Fishwick.

“We have a fantastic group offering that is relatively new in market so it’s important we have someone dedicated to championing our end-to-end solutions in market.”

Daoud: “Since joining VMG, the company has grown quickly, acquiring a number of additional brands which puts us in a unique position to offer solutions for clients from strategy and creative right through to all aspects of implementation. Taking up this new role from a group perspective enables us to tap into an extensive partner network to deliver better results and more value for clients."
